What is Soma?

Soma is known generically as Carisoprodol, a muscle relaxer which works by prohibiying pain receptors from transmitting sensations to the central nervous system. It is frequently prescribed in conjunction with physica therapy and rest for people suffering from skeletal muscle damage, as well as other unpleasant musculoskeletal disorders and diseases. Potential for Abuse?

Soma has been known to be addictive, and was taken off the market in Sweden in 2007 due to its potential for dependency and abuse. Soma is considered a scheduled drug in the State of Florida, though it is not in the rest of the United States.

  • Extreme fatigue or disorientation
